Ranch YFC is localized in the village Svarin within the municipality Kralova Lehota which was founded in 14th century and it is the gateway to Svarinska dolina (Svarinska Valley), the longest valley (35 km) of Nizke Tatry (Low Tatras) through which flows the river Cierny Vah springing at the foothill of Kralovna hola.  The village is known also for the location of highest erected water power station in the Slovakia powered by elevated cross-pumped water.
Svarinska dolina (Svarinska Valley) with its side-valleys is a part of the National Park Nizke Tatry.  Because of its esthetic and ecological value, as well as, wide-ranging offer and availability of sport and cultural activities is sought for place by tourists who want to spend their vacation and relax actively in mountains.
